Arbitrary Notion
Video Installation 2013 3’ 30’’
This is the record of man’ s arbitrary behavior. One day, I found ants living in my house and almost 30 ants are going into the bin or cabinet. I instantly start to kill them. Killing them everyday, but ants never die off. Suddenly an idea struck me. What I have done terrible things! If I see ants in outside, I would think they are cute and not kill them, but when they come into my territory, I labeled them as injurious insects and started to kill unconsciously. I recorded the moments of that ants are killed by the arbitrary notion of human being.
